So-Called Animal Production: Its Impact on Animals and the Planet
This lecture will focus primarily on the ethical aspects of humans' approach to animals. It will introduce the concept of veganism as a compassionate, sustainable, and healthy lifestyle. It will also briefly touch upon ecological issues and the health benefits that a properly balanced plant-based diet offers. As part of the lecture, the reality of the everyday lives of animals raised solely for human use will be presented.
The lecture will be led by Mgr. Věra Mikušová, a cybersecurity expert, the author of the film Svědectví, and the founder of the nonprofit organization Soucitný svět.
The lecture will be held in Czech.
